Abstract of the Disclosure An electrical coupler and adapter is provided which is simple to make and can be used for coupling electrical plugs of the tip and ring type and of different sizes either for two-conductor circuits or three-conductor circuits. The device includes a conductive sleeve to opposed ends of which are crimped two conductive bushings which may be identical or not, as desired. One or more spring contacts can be mounted in two insulating inserts which are semi-cylindrical so that they can be assembled together to enclose the contact or contacts in an insulating tube. This sub-assembly can be inserted into the conductive sleeve before the bushings are inserted and crimped into position.
