Electrical current measurement transformers that convert electromagnetic fields generated by electrical currents (1) into elastic (mechanical) waves that are transmitted through a dielectric medium (3) to a receiver (4) that converts them once again into electrical signals. As an option, at the end, an electronic unit (5) amplifies and conditions these signals, whose magnitude is related to the current in the primary circuit. The invention is configured with different types of transformers depending on the type of magnetic field/force converter of the elastic waves (permanent magnet, ferromagnetic core, coil, or magnetostrictive material), and the forces that are transmitted (traction/compression, rotation, and flexion). While the magnetic field/force converters are made of materials that interact with the magnetic field, or coils with currents induced by the variations in the magnetic field, the receivers are made of piezoelectric material.
