An electrical energy generator that converts kinetic energy harvested from voluntary motor activity of a human or animal to electrical energy. The electrical energy generator includes a housing, a coil of electrically conductive material, a reciprocally movable electromagnetically active mass, springs connecting the mass to either the housing or to adjustment means engaged with said housing, and, optionally, means for constraining non-linear motion of the electromagnetically active mass, and/or means of mitigating motion retardation of the electromagnetically active mass within any existing housing atmosphere. The electrical energy generator may be associated with a carried item, such as a backpack.
L'invention concerne un générateur d'énergie électrique convertissant l'énergie cinétique récupérée d'une activité volontaire d'un moteur humain ou animal en énergie électrique. Le générateur d'énergie électrique comprend un logement, une bobine de matériau conducteur d'électricité, une masse active mobile électromagnétiquement en va-et-vient, des ressorts raccordant la masse au logement ou à un moyen d'ajustement accouplé au dit logement, et, éventuellement, un moyen destiné à limiter le mouvement non linéaire de la masse active électromagnétiquement, et/ou un moyen destiné à atténuer le retard de mouvement de la masse active électromagnétiquement dans une quelconque atmosphère de logement existante. Le générateur d'énergie électrique peut être associé à un article transporté, tel qu'un sas à dos.
