An evaporator, for use with a bottle containing a substance to be evaporated and a wick that has its lower portion disposed within the bottle and its upper portion protruding from the bottle, includes a housing in which the bottle is retained, a fan, disposed within the housing, for creating an airstream, and a louver structure, disposed downstream of the fan, for directing the airstream created by the fan upwardly and away from the upper portion of the wick. Preferably, the louver structure includes a plurality of louvers inclined at an angle between about 20 degrees to about 60 degrees relative to horizontal.
L'invention concerne un évaporateur, apte à être utilisé avec une bouteille contenant une substance destinée à être évaporée, et avec une mèche dont la partie inférieure est disposée au sein de la bouteille et dont la partie supérieure fait saillie depuis la bouteille. Cet évaporateur comprend: un logement dans lequel est retenu la bouteille; un ventilateur disposé au sein dudit logement qui permet de créer un flux d'air; et une structure d'évent à lames qui permet de diriger un flux d'air créé par le ventilateur vers le haut et à l'opposé de la partie supérieure de ladite mèche. De préférence, la structure d'évent à lames comprend une pluralité de lames inclinées selon un angle compris entre environ 20 et environ 60 degrés par rapport à l'horizontale.
