ABSTRACT A filter assembly is formed from a stepped profile terminal pin secured to the inner surface of a cylindrical filter sleeve which in turn is secured by its outer surface to an aperture of a profiled cylindrical eyelet. The stepped pin has mating portions of different diameters extending from the filter sleeve. A terminal sleeve is secured to one mating end within and extending from the eyelet to give that mating end a larger profile than the other mating end. The eyelet is filled with potting material to protect the filter sleeve.
