Abstract In a tool for cleaning paint brushes and rollers, manual work is applied in order to spin the paint brush or roller, allowing centrifugal force to clean and dry them. In this invention the spiral spindle and handle assembly used for manual operation is replaced by a shaft which can be inserted into an electrical hand drill. This improvement allows the drill to power the cleaning tool, which in turn cleans the brushes and rollers faster and better.
