The invention discloses an electrical heater comprising: - a heating unit for raising a temperature in a fluid passing through it; and - three sensors for monitoring the temperatures at the entrance, exit and in the middle of the heating unit. Use is made of a microprocessor for calculating the required amount of energy to bring the fluid at the exit of the heating unit at a predetermined temperature. A pulse width driver circuit, based on the data supplied by the microprocessor, activates the heating unit by raising the temperature in it.
