The invention concerns an electrical reactor (8) for reforming, in the presence of an oxidant gas, a gas comprising at least one hydrocarbon, and/or at least one organic compound, including carbon and hydrogen atoms as well as at least one heteroatom. Said reactor comprises: an enclosure, a reaction chamber provided with at least two electrodes (2, 4) comprising at least one conductive lining material (7) electrically isolated from the metal wall of the enclosure, at least one supply (1a) of gas to be reformed, at least one oxidant gas supply (1a), at least one outlet for the gases from the reforming (1b) and one electrical source (13) for powering the electrodes (2, 4) and resulting in generation of an electronic flux in the conductive lining (7) between the electrodes and in heating said lining (7).

La présente invention a pour objet un réacteur électrique (8) pour le re formage, en présence d'un gaz oxydant, d'un gaz comprenant au moins un hydrocarbure, et/ ou au moins un composé organique, comportant des atomes de carbone et d' hydro~gène ainsi qu'au moins hétéroatome. Ce réacteur comporte: une enceinte, une chambre de réaction munie d'au moins deux électrodes (2,4) comprenant au moins un matériau de garnissage conducteur (7) isolé électriquement de la paroi métallique de l'enceinte, au moins une alimentation (la) en gaz à reformer, au moins une alimentation en gaz oxydant (la) , au moins une sortie pour les gaz issus du reformage (lb) et une source électrique (13) permettant la mise sous tension des électrodes (2,4) et résultant dans la génération d'un flux électro~nique dans la garnissage conducteur (7) entre les électrodes et dans le chauffage dudit garnissage (7).
