2080466 9115888 PCTABS00007 The installation concerns an electrical house-wiring system in which plug blocks are mounted in sockets in the floor by virtue of their special design. This makes it possible not only to combine these sockets mechanically by simply plugging in a usually three-pin bridge unit in the form of a pin-and-socket connector, but also to combine them electrically without any loss of time. To this end, each unit in a combination has facilities for directly connecting up appliances to be installed. The appliance connection can take the form of a pre-assembled three-wire cable harness. In addition, at least one take-off line can be taken from each of these combined sockets to supply power to other socket systems. In general, with this installation technique no wiring work is necessary on the building site to connect up the individual sockets within a combination to their power supply. The generally individually laid connector clips previously used are no longer necessary. Sockets of this type can be used not only as appliance sockets or appliance connector sockets but, if required, also as pure connector sockets.
