Abstract of the Invention This invention relates to a 100% solid impregnation compound having a high degree of slot fill for electrical equipment that must be compatible with lubricants at elevated temperatures, as well as, the method of manufacture of the electrical equipment which includes a curing step that results in a void free insulation having at least a 1500 V.A.C. dielectric strength. The compound involved in the invention is a blend of about 100 parts by weight of an epoxy cresol novolak resin, about 100 parts by weight of a cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, about 130 parts by weight of nadic methyl anhydride, about 56 parts by weight of a dianhydride hardening agent, and 579 parts by weight of alumina, all of which is cured to provide void free insulation.
