ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to an electrical insulating oil consisting essentially of a oil having a boiling point of not less than 150°C, a viscosity of 2 to 500 centistokes (at 40°C), a pour point of not more than -35°C, a sulfur content of from more than 5 ppm to not more than 1,000 ppm and an aromatic hydrocarbon content (%CA) of more than 5%.
