An electrical male plug for use with an electrical double outlet comprising two sets of prong-receiving sockets respectively connected in pairs to a same electric power source. The plug has two sets of prongs that are positioned to respectively engage at the very same time the two sets of prong-receiving sockets of the double outlet. The prongs of the two sets of prongs are electrically connected in pairs to a same electrical conductor that may be part of a high power-consuming appliance. In use, the electrical load supported by each of said prongs when theplug is used is divided by two.
