2111225 9321696 PCTABS00027 An electrical network which emulates the transmission characteristics of the cable, allowing tests to be made as to the length by which a cable may be extended before cable degradation occurs. The preferred embodiment concerns emulating beldon 8281 coaxial cable, used for the transmission of serial digital video signals. A preferred embodiment comprises four sections, arranged to emulate 25 metres, 50 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres of cable.
