ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a sealing element for an electromechanical component and to a sealing method. According to this invention, a fleece, i.e. a material of high capillary absorbency is placed upon the areas of the component to be sealed and is saturated with a highly fluid plastic material (casting resin). This invention is used for the sealing of electromagnetic circuit board relays.
