ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A nail holder for an electrical outlet box is adaptable for different size nails, and holds the nail in place so an installer can hold the box with one hand and drive the nail in with a hammer with the other hand. The box has fastener tabs on both sides extending beyond the end nail holes in the tabs and a pair of opposing in-line nail gripping lugs between holes in opposing tabs, the lugs adapted to hold a nail passing through the holes.
