- 11 - ELECTRICAL OUTLET WITH VISUAL MARKINGS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conventional electrical outlet is improved by the provision of a brightly coloured, preferably white, ring around the ground opening in the front face of the receptacle. This ring makes the receptacle visually apparent for the older person or person with weaker eyesight so that the person can readily locate the elec- trical outlet and can orient the plug for insertion of the pins into the receptacle. A marker pen is provided which has a central projection and a surrounding marking surface which can be inserted into the ground opening and rotated to provide the ring around the ground opening.
