ABSTRACT ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTION DEVICE WITH ISOLATION MONITORING An electrotechnical power supply installation, with several sources (1 to 4) and interconnectable networks (4 to 7), and an overall isolation monitor (CPIl to CPI4) and at least one locator (LOCI to LOC4) on each network (4 to 7). All the monitors (CPI1 to CPI4) and locators (LOCI to LOC4) are connected by a local computer network (32). Means (34 to 40) are provided for testing the open or closed state of the contacts of the circuit breakers (Dl to D7) and for transmitting this information to a management unit (33) which, via the local network (32), orders exclusion of the monitors (CPI2, CPI3) which are superfluous in one and the same configuration (4,5,6).
