ELECTRICAL SWITCH OPERATING TIMING MECHANISM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A timing mechanism comprising a drum-shaped helical cam. The drum-shaped helical cam is connected for power driven rotation. A cam follower engages the drum-shaped helical cam. At least one electrical switch is opened and closed by the cam follower. A manual actuator element cooperates with the helical cam to cause relative axial movement between the helical cam and the cam follower.
