A fastener system including a blind stud and a sleeve. The sleeve has a first section (12) abutting a second section. The first section (12) has a smaller outer surface diameter than the second section. A knurled band (22) is formed around the first section beginning at the intersection between the first and second sections. The sleeve has an opening axially through the two sections. The opening has a first larger inner surface which tapers via a frusto-conical surface to a smaller diameter inner surface. The larger diameter inner surface extends from the free end of the sleeve frist section and extends toward the second sections to the frusto-conical surface. The smaller diameter inner surface begins at the free end of the second section and extends toward the first section to the frusto-conical inner surface. The smaller diameter inner surface spans at least a portion and preferably all of the knurled band (22).
L'invention concerne un système d'assemblage comprenant un prisonnier borgne et un manchon. Le manchon comporte un premier segment (12) attenant à un deuxième segment et ayant un diamètre de surface externe inférieur à celui du deuxième segment. Une bande moletée (22) est formée autour du premier segment, en commençant à l'intersection entre le premier et le deuxième segment. Le manchon comporte une ouverture axiale à travers les deux segments qui a une première surface interne plus grande décroissant, par l'intermédiaire d'une surface de tronc de cône, en une surface interne de diamètre inférieur. La surface interne de diamètre supérieur commence à l'extrémité libre du premier segment du manchon et s'étend en direction du deuxième segment vers la surface de tronc de cône. La surface interne de diamètre inférieur commence à l'extrémité libre du deuxième segment et s'étend en direction du premier segment vers la surface interne de tronc de cône. La surface interne de diamètre inférieur couvre au moins une partie de la bande moletée (22) et, de préférence, la bande moletée dans sa totalité.
