A B S T R A C T An electrical wedge connector comprising a receptacle having a passage of generally C-section for reception of a flat wedge member. The wedge member has a pair of sides converging longitudinally and adapted to wedge conductors in bight portion of the receptacle. The receptacle is formed from resilient spring-wire and comprises two parallel spaced sections each section comprising a pair of facing hook-portions. The hook-portions of one section are more closely spaced than the hook-portions of the other, and the sections are integrally joined by a length of the wire.
