A central water control is disclosed having a hot water manifold for receiving hot water, a cold water manifold for receiving cold water and valves for controlling the flow of water from the manifolds to remotely located taps wherein electrical control devices are located near the taps in order to provide electrical signals for controlling the valves in order to control the flow of hot and cold water to the taps.
