An electrically conductive heated glass panel assembly (20), control system, and method for producing panels are provided to warm objects and to insure unobstructed viewing through glass by removing moisture. An integrated connection circuit (18) interconnects glass sheets, which have a low emissivity conductive coating deposited thereon. The circuit includes copper bus bars (22) that are disposed onto the conductive coating through the use of a circularly rotating or an inline heating head and mask apparatus. A metallic tab (24), which extends from the glass sheet's peripheral edge (37), is disposed onto each conductive metal bus bar for external electrical connectivity. Two types of glazing channels are offered to interconnect multiple panels to external circuits and controls. A solid-state controller (16) may be provided to obtain sensor control signals so as to drive a triac circuit that provides current flow through the panel for the desired heating.

L'invention concerne un ensemble panneau de verre chauffant (20) et conducteur, un système de commande et un procédé de production de panneaux qui permettent de chauffer des objets et assurent une vision libre à travers le verre en éliminant l'humidité. Un circuit de connexion intégrée (18) connecte entre elles des feuilles de verre, sur lesquelles est déposé un revêtement conducteur à faible émissivité. Ce circuit comprend des barres-omnibus en cuivre (22) qui sont disposées sur le revêtement conducteur à l'aide d'une tête rotative ou d'une tête de chauffage en ligne et d'un appareil de masquage. Une patte métallique (24), qui dépasse du bord périphérique de la feuille de verre (37), est disposé sur chaque barres-omnibus métallique conductrice afin d'assurer une connexion électrique extérieure. Deux types de canaux de vitrage connectent plusieurs panneaux à des circuits et à des commandes extérieurs. Un commande transistorisée (16) peut éventuellement être utilisée afin d'obtenir des signaux de commande d'un capteur de façon à commander un circuit triac qui assure le passage du courant à travers le panneau pour le chauffage souhaité.
