The current tools used by the Arthroscopic surgery are simple piecing devices that can not tell the surgeon if a nerve injury is imminent. Our idea is to modify some prototypes of existing arthroscopic tools adding the potential of being made with electro- conductive materials. Our idea is to remake these tools with a bare naked proximal, and distal elecro-conductive tips. The proximal tip will allow connection of the tool with the connecting interface of a nerve stimulator cable. The distal one will get in contact with the tissue. The tool shaft and handles shall be covered/ insolated with a non conductive material. As the tool is advanced by the surgeon though the tissue, an electro-conductive Arthroscopic tool, will alert the surgeon if a nerve injury is imminent. Our idea is applicable to: 1- Suture passers/ Hooks. 2- Tissue dissector 3- Probes 4- Switching/sticks for arthroscopic cannulas 5- Meniscal repair needles 6- Arthroscopic Trocars 7- Banana knives/basket scissors
