The invention relates to an ophthalmic lens comprising a transparent substrate (3) and electro-optic means (5) which are integrated into the substrate in order to provide an optical function in response to an electric stimulus. The inventive ophthalmic lens also comprises at least one photovoltaic cell (6) which is integrated into the substrate in order to supply the electro-optic means in response to an incident light and, optionally, a circuit for controlling the electric voltage. The photovoltaic cell (6) can be incorporated in an opaque element which occupies a small part of the surface of the lens. Alternatively, the photovoltaic cell (6) can be transparent and cover the surface of the lens at least partially.
Un verre ophtalmique comprend un substrat transparent (3) et des moyens électro-optiques (5) intégrés au substrat pour procurer une fonction optique en réponse à un stimulus électrique. Le verre ophtalmique comprend en outre au moins une cellule photovoltaïque (6) intégrée au substrat pour alimenter les moyens électro-optiques en réponse à une lumière incidente et, optionnellement, un circuit de contrôle de la tension électrique. La cellule photovoltaïque (6) peut être incorporée à un élément opaque occupant une petite partie de la surface du verre. Alternativement, la cellule photovoltaïque (6) peut être transparente et peut recouvrir au moins en partie la surface du verre.
