ABSTRACT An electro to pneumatic converter apparatus and system used in controlling an electro-pneumatic transducer is disclosed whereby a digital electronic signal is converted into a pneumatic signal. The converter apparatus and system is relatively rugged and capable of withstanding shock, tilt, vibration and many adverse operating conditions. Means for receiving a train of incoming pulses from an analog to digital converter or radio frequency receiver is provided. A reference pulse representative of the output pressure of the transducer is generated and through comparing means, in compared with the incoming pulse. Switch means is coupled to the transducer for energizing same and is activated by suitable actuation means responsive to the output of the comparing means when the incoming pulse differs from the reference pulse.
