An electrochemically driven syringe pump (10) for infusion of medicament wherein the pump has a detachable barrel (14) in which medicament can be stored and subsequently infused, the pump further comprising a pre-pressurizing apparatus operative to minimize delay in the delivery of medicaments. The pump is further adapted for storage as the charge transfer medium is sealed in a reservoir prior to activation.

L'invention porte sur une pompe électrochimique de seringue (10) de perfusion de médicaments munie d'un barillet détachable (14) d'où le médicament y ayant été préalablement stocké peut ensuite être perfusé. La pompe est de plus conçue pour le stockage car le moyen de transfert de charge est enfermé dans un réservoir avant d'être activé. Elle comporte en outre un dispositif pré-pressurisation servant à raccourcir le délai de distribution du médicament.
