The invention concerns discrete electrochromic particles comprising conducting, semiconducting or insulating nanoparticles having one or more electrochromic compounds adsorbed on the surface thereof. These particles may be deposited on an electrode in a single process step at a relatively low temperature, thereby allowing the use of heat-sensitive materials such as plastics as flexible substrates for the electrode.
L'invention concerne des particules discrètes comprenant des nanoparticules conductrices, semi-conductrices ou isolantes, sur la surface desquelles sont adsorbés un ou plusieurs composants électrochromes. Ces particules peuvent être déposées sur une électrode au cours d'une seule étape de traitement, à une température relativement basse, ce qui permet d'utiliser des matériaux sensibles à la chaleur, tels que des plastiques, en tant que substrats flexibles pour l'électrode.
