This invention relates to aramid papers, and a process for making such papers, the papers comprising 5 to 65 parts by weight aramid fiber, 30-90 parts by weight aramid fibrids, and 1-20 parts by weight of conductive filler, based on the total weight of the aramid fiber, fibrids, and filler; the papers having an apparent density of not more than 0.43 g/cm3 and a tensile index not less than 60 Nm/g.
L'invention concerne des papiers d'aramide et un procédé de fabrication de ceux-ci. Les papiers comprennent de 5 à 65 parties en poids de fibre d'aramide, 30-90 parties en poids de fibrides d'aramide et 1-20 parties en poids d'une charge conductrice, par rapport au poids total de la fibre d'aramide, des fibrides et de la charge. Ces papiers présentent un grammage de 0,43 g/cm3 au maximum et un indice de résistance à la traction d'au moins 60 Nm/g.
