An electroconductive silicone rubber sponge composition comprising: 100 parts by weight of a polyorganosiloxane, 1 to 100 parts by weight of an electroconductive filler such as carbon black, 0.01 to 50 parts by weight of a hollow thermoplastic resin powder, 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a liquid compound that has a boiling point above room temperature, preferably water or an alcohol and a curing agent in an amount sufficient to cure the composition. An optional reinforcing filler may be added. The composition is capable of forming an electroconductive silicone rubber sponge having uniform and microfine foam cells. Methods for preparing the composition and the sponge are also disclosed

L'invention concerne une composition d'éponge en élastomère de silicone électro-conducteur comprenant: 100 parties en poids d'un polyorganosiloxane, 1 à 100 parties en poids d'une charge électro-conductrice, telle que du noir de carbone, 0,01 à 50 parties en poids d'une poudre de résine thermoplastique creuse, 0,1 à 10 parties en poids d'un composé liquide dont le point d'ébullition est supérieur à la température ambiante, de préférence de l'eau ou un alcool, et un agent de durcissement en quantité suffisante afin de durcir la composition. Il est possible d'ajouter aussi une charge de renforcement. La composition permet de former une éponge en élastomère de silicone électro-conducteur possédant des alvéoles uniformes et très fines. L'invention concerne aussi des procédés de préparation de la composition et de l'éponge.
