ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides disclosure of an improved Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) test apparatus having a working electrode assembly which has a metallic electrode in direct contact with a one-piece nonmetallic housing. The exposed portion of the electrode is flush with the end of the housing. The electrode and housing are disconnectably mounted to an insulated rod which acts as a support for the electrode assembly as well as a signal conductor for the experimental results. In the preferred embodiment the electrode assembly is mounted such that the plane of the exposed portion of the electrode is perpendicular with the surface of the electrolytic test fluid being used.
