The invention relates to an electrode compartment for an electrochemical cell, including a bicontinuous microe.pi.ulsion, wherein catalytic parts are generated in-situ in a fluid, which can act as a cathode as well as an anode. The electrode compartment comprises a connection to supply fuel or an oxidator, for example oxygen, to the compartment. The electrode compartment is part of a refreshing system with a reserve container for an emulsion and a storage container for used emulsion, conduits to connect each of the containers with the electrode compartment and a transport unit, for example a pump, to move the emulsion.
La présente invention a trait à un compartiment délectrode pour pile électrochimique, incluant une micro-émulsion bicontinue, des parties catalytiques étant générées in situ dans un fluide, qui peut tenir lieu de cathode ainsi que danode. Le compartiment délectrode comprend un raccordement dalimentation du compartiment en combustible ou en oxydant, par exemple de loxygène. Le compartiment délectrode fait partie dun système de rafraîchissement doté dun récipient de réserve pour émulsion et dun récipient de stockage pour émulsion usagée, de conduites raccordant chaque récipient au compartiment délectrode et dune unité de transport, par exemple une pompe, permettant de déplacer lémulsion.
