Electrode device for protecting and supporting an electrode used for measuring the resistivity of a body of soil. The device comprises a relatively flat support member with two main opposite faces and a lower end capable of being driven into the ground, so as to insert the support member into the ground. The support member is made of rigid material, one of the support member sides forming a first opening for providing access to a first compartment in the support member; and an insulating member made of electrically insulating material, the insulating member enabling the electrode to be mounted in the first compartment to electrically insulate said electrode from the support member. During use, the electrode is mounted in the support member, which is then inserted into the soil and arranged opposite a second electrode, the body of soil located between the electrodes being measured by supplying and measuring said electrodes.
Le dispositif à électrode est prévu pour protéger et supporter une électrode servant à mesurer la résistivité d'un volume de sol. Il comprend un membre de support relativement plat ayant deux faces principales opposées et une extrémité inférieure apte à être enfoncée dans le sol pour introduire le membre de support dans le sol, le membre de support étant fait d'un matériau rigide, une des faces du membre de support formant une première ouverture permettant un accès à un premier compartiment pratiqué dans le membre de support; et un moyen isolant fait d'un matériau électriquement isolant, le moyen isolant permettant de monter l'électrode dans le premier compartiment pour que l'électrode soit électriquement isolée du membre de support, ainsi, en opération, l'électrode est montée dans le membre de support qui est alors enfoncé dans le sol et disposé en face d'une seconde électrode de manière que le volume de sol qui est situé entre les électrodes soit mesuré en alimentant et mesurant lesdites électrodes.
