A B S T R A C T An electrode holder for arc welding, comprising a head, a pair of jaws within said head, a body connected with said head and adapted to be connected to the welding cable, and a handle surrounding said body and being removably fastened to the latter, wherein the fastening of the handle onto the body is formed by at least one pin which substantially radially extends from the body and engages into an opening of the handle, said pin being adapted to be depressed against spring action into a cut-out of the body.
