Abstract Granules of copper are produced by deposition on a patterned electrode having cathode surfaces 7 separated by insulating material 9, 10. Deposition may be continued until the copper coheres into a continuous sheet, in which case the sheet is broken up along its lines of weakness. The granules are fabricated by continuous friction-effected extrusion to obtain rod, wire or other elongate products. - 17 -
