U 10,715/BFC:au ELECTRODEPOSITION OF ZINC ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The instant invention is directed to an aqueous alkaline zinc-electroplating bath and to a process of utilizing the same, the bath comprising a source of zinc ions, and an effective zinc brightening amount of a bath soluble multiple quaternary compound which is the reaction product of a polyalkylene amine having a molecular weight of from about 60 to 1000, and an organic quater- nary ammonium halide which contains a halogen which will react with at least one-fourth of the available amino groups in the polyalkylene amine.
