Abstract This invention relates to electromagnetic transducers of the moving coil type. Such transducers are used in telephone subsets. The comprises a moving coil (4), a diaphragm (5) and a magnet system (1,2,3) enclosed within protecting covers (7,8). It includes an inset (6) placed between the magnet system and the front cover (7). The inset (6) is clamped axially between the inside of the front cover (7) and the inner magnet pole shoe (3). The inset (6) is provided with an axially arranged cylindrical part (20) which is extended through an axially arranged aperture (14) in the diaphragm (5) into contact with the magnet system.
