An electroluminescent (EL) one-way vision, see-through graphics panel comprises a sheet of light permeable material, typically a transparent plastic material, with a uniform electrically conductive coating. A print pattern partially covers the sheet of light permeable material, the print pattern comprising an electroluminescent ink system, to form an "EL lamp". A design is superimposed on or forms part of the print pattern, such that the design is visible from one side of the panel but is not visible from the other side of the panel. .The design can be a uniform colour but is typically a multi-colour graphic image. The EL lamp illuminates the design when subjected to an electrical current. If the light permeable material is transparent, through vision is possible from the other side of the panel through the imprinted portions of the transparent material. Typically, a dark coloured opaque mask layer, preferably black, faces in the direction of the other side of the panel, to mask the other print pattern layers and enable good through vision.
La présente invention concerne un panneau unidirectionnel électroluminescent (EL) pour graphiques transparent comprenant une feuille de matériau perméable à la lumière, typiquement un matériau plastique transparent, comportant un revêtement électriquement conducteur uniforme. Un motif d~impression recouvre partiellement la feuille de matériau perméable à la lumière, le motif d~impression comprenant un système d~encre électroluminescente composant une « lampe EL ». Un dessin est superposé sur ou forme une partie du motif d'impression, de sorte que le dessin est visible d'un côté du panneau mais n'est pas visible de l~autre côté du panneau. Le dessin peut être d~une couleur uniforme mais est typiquement une image graphique multicolore. La lampe EL illumine le dessin lorsqu~elle est soumise à un courant électrique. Si le matériau perméable à la lumière est transparent, la vision à travers le panneau est possible depuis l~autre côté du panneau à travers les portions imprimées du matériau transparent. Typiquement, une couche de masquage opaque de couleur sombre, de préférence du noir, fait face à la direction de l'autre côté du panneau, pour masquer les autres couches de motif d'impression et permettre une bonne vision à travers le panneau.
