Electrolysis cell in the constructive form of single elements, intended for instance for the production of chlorine, hydrogen and/or caustic soda and designed in such a way that the portion of inactive membrane surface is minimised thanks to an optimised flange type so that the ratio between the flange surface of a semi-shell and the active membrane surface can be set to less than 0.045, neither the semi-shells nor the membrane being provided with bores or recesses for accommodating the clamping members.

L'invention concerne une cellule d'électrolyse comprenant des éléments uniques, par exemple pour la production de chlore, d'hydrogène et/ou de soude caustique, et conçus de sorte que la partie de surface de membrane inactive soit réduite au minimum grâce à un type de bride optimisé, pour que le rapport entre la surface de bride de demi-coque et la surface de membrane active soit inférieur à 0,045, ni les demi-coques ni la membrane ne comportant des trous ou des cavités pour le logement des pièces de fixation.
