[PROBLEMS] To provide an inexpensive electrolyte membrane that can find application in uses for electrochemical units, such as a solid polymer fuel cell, and that exhibits high proton conductivity and when used as DMFC, excels in the capability of inhibiting methanol permeation, and that when operated as a fuel cell, excels in durability. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided an electrolyte membrane characterized by containing a crosslinked electrolyte polymer obtained from, as indispensable constituent monomers, (a) a compound, or salt thereof, having a polymerizable carbon to carbon double bond and sulfonate group in each molecule thereof and (b) a (meth)acrylamide derivative of specified structural formula.

[PROBLÈMES] Fournir une membrane électrolytique peu onéreuse qui peut trouver une application dans des utilisations dans des unités électrochimiques, telles qu'une pile à combustible en polymère solide, et qui démontre une conductivité protonique élevée et lorsqu'elle est utilisée en tant que DMFC, est excellente de par sa capacité à inhiber la perméation du méthanol, et qui quand elle fonctionne comme pile à combustible, présente une durabilité excellente.
