The present invention is an apparatus and method for disinfecting or sanitizing a desired object. The apparatus includes a container for an aqueous solution, the container may be a spray bottle (22). The apparatus includes an electrolytic cell (46), containing an electrolyte (24), an electrical power source (36), a control circuit (34) for providing an electric charge to the electrolyte to create an oxidant, and a fluid connection between the cell and container to permit introduction of the oxidant into the aqueous solution to create a disinfectant.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et une méthode de désinfection ou d'asepsie d'un objet désiré. L'appareil comprend un contenant destiné à une solution aqueuse, le contenant pouvant être un flacon pulvérisateur. L'appareil comprend une cellule d'électrolyse qui contient un électrolyte, une source de puissance électrique, un circuit de commande qui envoie une charge électrique à l'électrolyte pour créer un oxydant et une connexion pour le fluide réalisée entre la cellule et le contenant pour permettre d'introduire l'oxydant dans la solution aqueuse afin de former un désinfectant.
