The invention relates to an electrolytic cell consisting of two semi-shells and encompassing mainly the inlet and outlet devices, components for the flow control, a membrane as well as anode and cathode. The electrodes (1) may have any surface structure and they are connected on the side opposite to the membrane to conductive strips (2) connected to the respective semi-shell. The main feature of the invention is to segment the electrodes and to fabricate each electrode segment with its adjacent supporting strips as a jointless monolith from a single semi-finished workpiece.
L'invention concerne une cellule d'électrolyse formée de deux demi-coques, et entourant sensiblement les systèmes d'entrée et de sortie, des composants de régulation de l'écoulement, une membrane, ainsi qu'une anode et une cathode. Les électrodes peuvent présenter une structure de surface quelconque et sont assemblées du côté opposé à la membrane à une bande conductrice fixée sur la demi-coque correspondante. La caractéristique principale de la cellule décrite réside dans la segmentation des électrodes, et la fabrication de chaque segment d'électrode et de ses bandes de support adjacentes sous forme de monolithe sans joints de manière à former une pièce individuelle semi-finie.
