PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Dans la fabrication en continu des chlorates alcalins par électrolyse des chlorures alcalins sur anodes métalliques, la température d'électrolyse est abaissée de 30°C à 50°C par rapport aux températures initiales de fonctionnement des cellules qui sont comprises entre 55°C et 80°C, à des intervalles réguliers, de façon à pallier aux inconvénients causés par la présence de cations alcalino-terreux dans l'électrolyte. Ce perfectionne- ment permet d'allonger de façon très notable la période séparant les nettoyages des cellules.
