13 46,413I/D2 A B S T R A C T ELECTROMAGNETIC CONTACTOR A magnetic contactor including a movable contact assembly which includes a lever, and an electromagnet including an armature coupled to the movable contact lever for operating same. The armature and the contact lever are pivotally supported and are coupled together in such manner as to provide substantial parallelism therebetween which results in relatively small armature and lever movements and very low friction.
