A method for augmenting acute and chronic wound repair comprising the steps of configuring at least one waveform having at least one waveform parameter (Step 101) , selecting a value of said at least one waveform parameter of said at least one waveform to maximize at least one of a signal to noise ratio and a Power signal to noise ratio, in a target pathway structure (Step 102), using said at least one waveform that maximizes said at least one of a signal to noise ratio and a Power signal to noise ratio in a target pathway structure (Step 103) , to generate an electromagnetic signal, and coupling said electromagnetic signal to said target pathway structure to accelerate healing mechanisms (Step 104) .

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à renforcer la guérison des plaies aiguës et chroniques et qui comporte les étapes consistant à: configurer (étape 101) au moins une forme d'onde comportant au moins un paramètre de forme d'onde; sélectionner (étape 102) une valeur du ou des paramètre(s) de la ou des forme(s) d'onde afin de maximiser le rapport signal/bruit et/ou le rapport signal de puissance/bruit dans une structure de voie voulue; utiliser (étape 103) la ou les forme(s) d'onde maximisant le rapport signal/bruit et/ou le rapport signal de puissance/bruit dans la structure de voie voulue pour produire un signal électromagnétique; et coupler (étape 104) le signal électromagnétique à la structure de voie voulue afin d'accélérer les mécanismes de guérison.
