A mechanism for transferring torque from a motor (12) to a gear train through a magnetic hysteresis slip clutch has a feature for disconnecting the motor (12) from the gear train. The cup element (43) of the clutch has a magnetic member (41) on its outer surface. An electromagnet (30, 31) shifts the drive gear connecting the clutch to the gear train into and out of mesh with the gear (58) in the gear train with which it engages by interaction with the magnetic member. In a preferred embodiment, the cup (43) is pulled into mesh with the gear when the electromagnet (31) is energized and magnetically applies force to the magnetic member (41), and returns to the other position when the electromagnet (31) is deenergized and does apply force to the magnetic member (41).

Un mécanisme permettant de transférer un couple d'un moteur (12) à un train de pignons par l'intermédiaire d'un embrayage à glissement à hystérésis magnétique comporte un système pour désaccoupler le moteur (12) du train de pignons. La coupelle (43) de l'embrayage possède un élément magnétique (41) sur sa surface extérieure. Un électro-aimant (30, 31) accouple et désaccouple le pignon de commande reliant l'embrayage au train de pignons, et le pignon (58) avec lequel il vient en contact par interaction avec l'élément magnétique. Dans un mode de réalisation, la coupelle (43) est mise en prise avec le pignon lorsque l'électro-aimant (31) est excité et applique magnétiquement une force à l'élément magnétique (41), et revient à l'autre position lorsque l'électro-aimant (31) est désexcité et n'applique plus de force à l'élément magnétique (41).
