A B S T R A C T An injection valve, comprising a hollow casing containing an electro- magnetic winding connected to an electrical pulse source, an armature contained in the casing in proximity to the winding, a hollow nozzle supported by the casing so as to project therefrom by a length defi- ned by the geometrical requirements of the intake duct in order to be able to suitably locate therein the fuel discharge orifice located at the front end of the nozzle, a valve element having one end rigid with the armature is described.
