An electromagnetically operable valve includes a housing, an annular magnetic coil positioned therein and a plunger of metallic material which is surrounded by the coil and reciprocatible in axial direction of the coil to and from a valve seat of the valve. A sealing body of elastomeric material for the sealing of the valve seat is mounted to a first end of the plunger adjacent the valve seat. The plunger and the sealing body are form fittingly interconnected to achieve a mechanical connection which obviates the use of an adhesion promoter between the metallic and elastomeric materials. This leads to a simplified manufacture and reduced manufacturing costs.

Robinet électromagnétique comprenant un boîtier, une bobine magnétique annulaire à l'intérieur du boîtier et un plongeur de métal qui est entouré par la bobine et qui va et vient dans le sens axial de la bobine vers le siège de robinet et à partir de ce dernier. Un corps d'étanchéité en élastomère servant à sceller le siège de robinet est monté à une première extrémité du plongeur près du siège de robinet. Le plongeur et le corps d'étanchéité sont reliés entre eux de manière à s'adapter par leur forme pour réaliser une liaison mécanique qui permet d'éviter l'utilisation d'un promoteur d'adhésion entre le métal et l'élastomère. Il est donc plus simple et moins coûteux de fabriquer le robinet.
