The present invention relates to a method for production of silane where particulate quartz in a fluidized bed is treated with a gas containing hydrogen at a temperature below 0°C, with the quartz in the fluidized bed subjected to an alternating electric field having a frequency equal to the intrinsic resonant frequency of at least a part of the quartz particles to create vibrational energy in the particles, thereby causing a chemical reaction between quartz and hydrogen to produce silane. The invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de silane dans lequel le quartz particulaire présent dans un lit fluidifié est traité avec un gaz contenant de l'hydrogène à une température inférieure à 0°C, le quartz présent dans le lit fluidifié étant soumis à un champ électrique alternatif d'une fréquence égale à la fréquence à résonance intrinsèque d'au moins une partie des particules de quartz pour créer une énergie vibrationnelle dans les particules, provoquant ainsi une réaction chimique entre le quartz et l'hydrogène pour obtenir du silane. L'invention concerne également un appareil pour réaliser le procédé.
