-1- Abstract: An electron holography microscope obtains an inter ference pattern with contour moire lines depicted thereon which is displayed on a cathode-ray tube, whereby the three-dimensional structure of a specimen can be readily observed on such tube. To this end, the microscope has a television camera that picks up the interference pattern and a straight line fringe image generator for producing a straight line fringe pattern the direction and interval of which can be selected at will. Outputs of the camera and the generator are processed and the result displayed on a cathode-ray tube. The invention has the advantage of avoiding the delays involved in the prior art method which involved photographic steps.
