A method for tracking status of an inventory shipment sent to a recipient includes monitoring whether the recipient has transmitted an electronic acknowledgment of the status of the shipment; and automatically transmitting a message to the recipient requesting acknowledgment of receipt of inventory if the electronic acknowledgment is not transmitted by the recipient within a first predetermined amount of time.

Procédé pour effectuer le suivi de l'envoi d'un inventaire expédié à un destinataire; ce procédé consiste à surveiller la transmission au destinataire d'une confirmation électronique du statut de l'envoi, et à transmettre automatiquement un message au destinataire qui demande de recevoir une confirmation de la réception de l'inventaire si la confirmation électronique n'est pas transmise par le destinataire pendant une première période prédéterminée.
